Welcome to the University Club of Portland

We’re delighted to welcome guests to the University Club. Our team is here to ensure your visit is comfortable, memorable, and reflects the spirit of our Club.

Clubhouse & Main Dining Room

Minimum Attire: Business Casual
Professional but relaxed - think slacks, khakis, skirts, dresses, collared shirts, sweaters, jackets, and denim in good condition. Dress shoes, loafers, or clean sandals are all welcome.
 

Coworking Spaces & The Grille

Minimum Attire: Neat and Clean Casual
A more relaxed environment where clean, tidy casual wear is appropriate. Athletic wear and shorts are welcome here (excluding baseball caps), as long as they’re respectful of fellow members and the Club setting.
 
A Few Notes:

  • Children 12 and under are exempt from dress code

  • Private events and themed gatherings may have their own dress expectations

  • Baseball caps are not permitted anywhere in the Club

To maintain the respectful and welcoming environment our members value, we kindly ask all visitors to observe the following rules:

  • Phone calls and video chats are not permitted in shared spaces.
    Please use one of the designated phone booths for any audible conversations.

  • Dress code rules must be followed at all times.
    Please review the Club’s dress code before your visit to ensure appropriate attire.

  • The University Club parking lot is for members only.
    A valid parking pass is required. No exceptions can be made for guests or visitors.

  • Treat all UC members and staff with courtesy and respect.
    Professionalism and kindness are core to the Club experience.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us uphold the standards that make the University Club of Portland a place of comfort, community, and care.

The University Club parking lot is reserved for members only. Visitors and guests are not permitted to park in the lot at any time.
Street parking is available nearby, or you’re welcome to use one of the following parking garages located within a short walk of the Club:

  • PacWest Center – 575 SW Jefferson St

  • Plaza on 6th – 1301 SW 5th Ave

  • Ladd Tower Garage – 756 SW Jefferson St

Clubhouse Hours:

Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Closed Saturdays Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Closed Sunday & Monday

Dining Hours:

  • Lunch: Tuesday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Dinner: Tuesday – Friday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Saturday Grille: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Closed Saturdays Memorial Day through Labor Day)

  • Breakfast: Available by appointment. Please inquire with the Catering.

Check-In:

All guests and visitors must check in with the Concierge upon arrival. The Concierge Desk is located at the front entrance on SW 6th Ave and is staffed from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Please be prepared to share the name of the member hosting you or the purpose of your visit. Our team will be happy to assist with directions, reservations, and any questions you may have during your time at the Club.

We’re delighted to welcome reciprocal members to the University Club of Portland. To ensure a smooth visit, please have your home club send a letter of introduction to our Concierge team in advance of your arrival. This letter should confirm your membership in good standing and your access to reciprocal privileges.

If you have questions about the letter of introduction, please reach out to your home club directly, they are responsible for preparing and submitting the letter on your behalf.
When you arrive, please check in at the Concierge Desk and bring a valid photo ID. We recommend calling ahead to make dining or meeting space reservations, as availability may vary.
